Family Benefit Committee 2012

Sunday, April 22, 2012
3:00 - 6:00 pm

Please Note: The Bruce Museum is closed to the general public all day on April 22.

This family-focused event will be offered in conjunction with the upcoming exhibtion Walter Wick: Games, Gizmos and Toys in the Attic. Walter Wick is one of the co-creators of the hugely popular children's "I Spy" books and games.

Event co-chairs Jessica Mindich and Joline Stemerman, along with their energetic committee, are well underway with plans for a spectacular afternoon for the entire family. Broadway performers from the New Paradigm Theatre Company, from such shows as Annie, Beauty and the Beast, Les Miserables, Lion King, Little Mermaid, Mary Poppins, Peter Pan, Phantom of the Opera, Wicked and Wizard of Oz, will provide unique entertainment along with special workshops for children. Also at the event will be a full buffet provided by Marcia Selden Catering, beer and wine for the adults, Walter Wick thematic craft activities and a special silent auction.

In addition to being a fun and activity-filled afternoon, proceeds from the benefit will help to support children's education and scholarship programs at the Bruce Museum.

Individual tickets to the event are $85 per adult and $25 per child (children under 3 are free). Patron level tickets, which include special benefits, will be available for $350, $750 and $1,500.
