Designed for children ages 6-10 and their families, these tours will provide an interactive, discussion-based tour of the museum’s current exhibitions led by a museum educator. This program is free with museum admission and no advanced registration is required.
Note: Strollers are not permitted in the Love Gallery and Arcade Gallery due the high visitor turn out and limited room. Please store strollers in the Museum Coat rooms during your visit to the Alfred Sisley Impressionist Master and Canvas and Cast: Highlights from the Bruce Museum’s Art Collection exhibitions.
1:00pm - 3:00pm
A drop-in program designed for children of all ages and their families where participants can create a work of art in our workshop inspired by the Museum’s collection and exhibitions. Families will explore the process of making fine art while using quality art-making supplies and discussing current exhibitions.
$7.00 per person for Museum members, $15.00 for non-members, plus the cost of museum admission.
No advanced registration is required.

Talks throughout the afternoon by local commercial shellfishermen and a representative from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA).
1:30 pm: Learn from local commercial shellfishermen about the health of the local shellfish beds and their future
2:30 pm: Hear about NOAA's interest in the shellfish ecosystem services, their partnership with the Greenwich Shellfish Commission, and what they hope to achieve by the end of the current project.
Raw bar of local shellfish will be available.
