Bruce Beginnings - Morning

For ages 2.5-5 with adult - Tuesday mornings @11:00 am & Tuesday afternoons @1:00 pm.  Explore the museum collections and exhibitions through picture books and hands-on activities. Topics change weekly. This program takes place on the Museum’s free admission day and space is limited. Please see Visitor Service desk upon arrival to the Museum to secure a spot.

Film plus Tour.  Visions of Iron: The Story of the Salisbury Iron District  Film plus Tour. Visions of Iron: The Story of the Salisbury Iron District

In this film, Connecticut historian Ed Kirby discusses and narrates the complex history of ironmaking in the Salisbury Iron District, a geographic region that includes Connecticut, Massachusetts, and New York State. The film runs for 30 minutes and will be followed by a tour of the Treasures of the Earth exhibition.

Advance reservations: Free for Bruce members,  $10 for non-members (includes Museum admission).. Registration required here; seating is limited.
