Teacher Workshops & Professional Development

Professional Development Opportunities

At the Museum

The Bruce Museum’s team of educators have developed a roster of exciting professional development workshops for teachers hosted at the Bruce Museum. These workshops can be either half or full day and focus on topics like critique in the classroom, using art to discuss tough topics and STEAM education. Teachers will have the opportunity to spend time in the Museum galleries as well as in the Education Workshop. If you are interested in a workshop, contact Corinne Flax, Manager of School and Community Partnerships, cflax@brucemuseum.org, or (203) 413-6742.

At your School

Bruce Museum educators will come to your school and lead exciting and dynamic discussions and breakout groups for teachers. These programs are 1 to 2 hours in length and cover topics such as science in art and visual literacy. If you are interested in a workshop, contact Corinne Flax at cflax@brucemuseum.org

Educator’s Open Houses
