Each year the Bruce Museum sponsors two outdoor festivals that feature original work by some of the best artists and craftspeople from around the country. The Crafts Festival in May is regularly held one week before Memorial Day. The Arts Festival is regularly held in October on Columbus Day weekend. All artists are present thoughout each entire weekend and all works are for sale.
Festival hours: 10 am – 5 pm
Members and children under 5 are free.
Festival parking: Island Beach parking lot, Steamboat Road, Museum Drive

Outdoor Crafts Festival
Come and enjoy the Bruce Museum's 29th Annual Outdoor Crafts Festival featuring fine contemporary craft, including ceramics, fiber, jewelry, glass, wood, metal, paper arts and leather, as well as family craft activities, live music and deliciousfood.
Make a weekend of it and tap your feet to pop rock music by Remember September on Saturday and folk/pop by Bern Wain on Sunday, or sample classical guitar music by soloists Annalisa Ewald and Ed Wright. Of course, there is delicious food to keep you going. You are invited to try your own hand on craft activities especially designed for families in the Museum’s Education Workshop.

Come and enjoy the Bruce Museum’s 33rd Annual Outdoor Arts Festival. More than 85 artists from all over the country, many of them new to the show, will be on the Museum grounds to show you and discuss their work. Paintings, drawings, prints, sculptures, mixed media pieces and photography in color as well as black and white are all available for purchase.
