Bruce Museum to Reopen to the Public on Saturday, June 27, 2020
Special Hours, admission, ticketing:
Admission to the Bruce Museum beginning June 27 will be by advance reservation, with timed ticketing to ensure the comfort and safety of visitors and staff. Admission will be free to all visitors upon the Museum’s reopening to the public.
The following hours of operation and admission policy will be in effect until further notice:
9:30 – 10:30 am, Tuesday through Sunday: The Museum is open only to self-selected individuals over the age of 65 or who are immunocompromised.
10:30 – 11:30 am, Tuesday through Sunday: The Bruce is pleased to welcome Museum members for one hour of special access.
All remaining Museum hours are unchanged. To reserve a timed ticket to visit the Bruce Museum, visit brucemuseum.org or call 203-869-0376. (Please note that the Museum will be closed on Saturday, July 4 in observance of the Fourth of July Holiday.)
Maximum safe occupancy for each exhibition space or area has been calculated to allow for social distancing between groups (including staff) and to comply with state social gathering size guidance.
Timed tickets will be available to small family groups (no more than four persons). Twenty-five people will be permitted per 30 minutes. A 15-minute window immediately following these 30 minutes will be built in to scheduling to allow for slower visits or Museum Store purchases.
Visitors are required to wear masks or cloth face covering that completely covers the nose and mouth. Visitors who are not compliant with appropriate face covering will be asked to leave and return only when properly outfitted. Visitors can arrive five minutes before their ticketed time and up to 10 minutes after their ticketed time to enter. If at any time gallery spaces

Winter Weather Closings
If the Museum is closed to the public due to weather conditions or other emergencies, an announcement will be placed by 7:15 a.m. on the Museum's telephone message at 203-869-0376. Bruce Museum also posts closing notices on the Bruce Museum website brucemuseum.org homepage, and on social media pages.

From New York City/ Westchester County and points south and west
Take I-95 North to exit 3 . At the bottom of ramp turn right onto Arch Street. Follow Arch Street to intersection of Steamboat Road. Go straight across to Museum Drive. The museum entrance is 500 feet on your left. Students may be dropped off at front entrance plaza. Buses must continue around drive and park in designated parking spaces at bottom of the hill.
From New Haven/Stamford and points east
Take I-95 South to exit 3. Turn left at bottom of the ramp onto Arch Street. Go under thruway bridge to intersection of Steamboat Road. Proceed as above.
From the Merritt Parkway
Take the North Street exit and follow signs to central Greenwich. At the end of North Street bear left onto Maple Avenue. At the light bear right onto Putnam Avenue and take the immediate left onto Milbank Avenue. Follow Milbank to the end, bearing straight at rotaries. Turn right onto Bruce Park Avenue. Take the next left onto Steamboat Road. At the light take a left onto Museum Drive.
Take Metro-North to Greenwich Station. Special discounts are available for Metro-North Railroad's “One-Day Getaways.” Exit the station toward the east and turn right onto Steamboat Road. Walk through I-95 underpass and climb steps to the Museum.

The Bruce Museum is accessible to individuals with disabilities.
Museums for All gives up to four individuals in the same group free admission with the presentation of one EBT card. This program is in effect during regular business hours and does not apply to lectures or other special programs.
We are pleased to partner with Bank of America on the Museums on Us program. On the first full weekend of every month, admission to the Bruce is free for all Bank of American cardholders. Each cardholder gets one free general admission. We are grateful for Bank of America's support of the Bruce Museum and partnering with the Museum on this program.
