Information for a safe museum visit

Accessibility

Wheelchairs are available and disinfected before use; please ask the Front Desk for options.

Service animals are welcome to visit the Museum.

There are accessible restrooms on the first floor of the Museum.

Please ask about captioned works upon arrival.

For visitors with sensory needs: We look forward to welcoming you to the Bruce. If you have questions regarding your visit, please contact the Education Department.

Strollers and Baby Carriers

Strollers are permitted in the Museum, with the exception of double and jogging strollers. At times of high traffic, or during specific exhibitions, stroller access may be limited in specific galleries. Front-facing baby carriers are always permitted. Please do not carry your children on your shoulders in the Museum.

the Bruce Café

We're excited to offer a delicious selection of food and drinks at the Bruce Café! While we hope you'll enjoy our menu, we kindly ask that you refrain from bringing in outside food or beverages to the Café or Café Patio. Thank you!

Photography Policy

Visitors to The Bruce may be photographed, videotaped, or otherwise recorded. By visiting, visitors grant the Museum permission to use photographs and/or audiovisual recordings in which visitors appear for archival, documentary, publicity, advertising, or other purposes. Photography of children and youth under age 18 may be subject to additional permissions.

Visitors to the Bruce are invited to take non-flash photography and video on the Museum grounds and in the galleries provided there is no signposted restriction. Photography and videography are permitted for non-commercial, personal use only. The use of tripods, monopods, and selfie sticks is prohibited.
