Experiences at the Bruce: Seeing Touch: Georges Braque’s Tactile Spaces

Join Assistant Curator of Art, Jordan Hillman, as she leads a lecture and discussion on the works of Georges Braque.

Jordan Hillman is the Assistant Curator of Art at the Bruce Museum. Before coming to the Bruce, she was an Invited Researcher at the University of Paris, Nanterre, and an Annual Subject Fellow at the German Center for Art History in Paris. In 2023, she received her PhD in Art History from the University of Delaware with a dissertation that examined the ways in which artists subverted police authority through image making in turn-of-the-century Paris, a subject she has explored further in several lectures and publications. Previously, she was the International Fine Print Dealers Association Summer Fellow and a curatorial research assistant in the Department of Prints, Drawings, and Photographs at the Baltimore Museum of Art.
