Bruce Wellness Day

Saturday, September 20, 2025, 10am–4pm

On September 20th, 2025, come take a break, refresh and recharge at the Bruce during our first Wellness Day. Enjoy a sensory friendly morning, explore the galleries with a music therapist, move your body in a family or adult yoga class, try out Healing Touch or get lost in a creative therapeutic coloring session.

All activities are free with Museum admission, and there is no admission fee for visitors under 18!

Ann Wellness

Ann Brett is a Greenwich Yoga Teacher/Yoga Therapist and Meditation Teacher, Somatics Educator and Yoga Retreat Leader. She is a Docent at the Bruce Museum. Ann earned her MA in “Anglo-Irish Art and Literature” at NYU.

Ann studied at “The Barnes Museum” taking a class on “Being Present with Art: Exploring the Theory and Practice of Integrating Art and MBSR Meditation” in a Museum Setting.

She has owned her business in town - teaching both public (all levels) and private classes for more than 27 years. (Her clients range from 10 years old to 80 plus). She is a member of the “The International Association of Yoga Therapists”.

She is humorous- reads poetry - travels the world - learning and teaching and visiting museums, of course!

Caroline Greco, Afternoon of Wellness

Caroline Greco is humanistic and strengths-based Board-Certified Music Therapist and Licensed Creative Arts Therapist who has a passion for serving older adults with memory impairment and individuals receiving hospice care. Caroline spent her undergraduate and graduate studies at SUNY New Paltz, receiving her Master of Science in Music Therapy in 2020. Through her clinical training and professional work, Caroline has provided individual and group music therapy services in pediatric oncology units, neonatal intensive care units, assisted living facilities and nursing homes for older adults with dementia, rehabilitation facilities for adults with traumatic and acquired brain injuries, and homecare for individuals receiving hospice services.

Caroline is the Program Director and Music Therapist at The Greens at Greenwich. She provides recreative, receptive, and improvisational music experiences to enhance quality of life through social and emotional engagement, to provide opportunities for musical and verbal self-expression, to promote reminiscence and life review, to help cultivate resources for coping, and to offer support, comfort, and joy.

Claudia Marulanda

Claudia P. Marulanda is a New York City-based portrait artist born in Colombia who rediscovered her passion for art after experiencing an emotional rock bottom.

Today, she uses art to support women navigating life transitions, helping them reconnect with themselves and build emotional resilience.

Through personalized portraits, expressive workshops, and meaningful painting events, Claudia celebrates resilience and promotes personal growth. Her mission is to use art as a transformative tool for emotional awareness and healing. As an artist and facilitator, she creates spaces for women to explore creativity, self-reflection, and personal empowerment.

Healing Touch

Healing Touch-Relaxation & Restoration for Your Health and Well-being

Healing Touch consists of a team of compassionate and professional Board-Certified Healing Touch Practitioners who met while providing biofield therapy at Greenwich Hospital. Their combined ability and training include nursing, psychology, education, sound healing, life coaching, mindfulness, and other holistic healing modalities.
