Marguerite has no reason to refuse the church’s annulment of her marriage to Fred. She also has a new partner with whom she has a child. However, to convince the church that their previous marriage was doomed from the start, Marguerite and Fred must examine their shared past.
The movie will start promptly at 2pm. Registration is required and seats are limited.
Additional parking: Island Beach parking lot, Steamboat Road, Steamboat Road Commuter Garage, Museum Drive.

Robert Henrey will join Joe Meyers for a Q & A following the film.
Robert Henrey’s early brush with the movies was being chosen out of the blue as the child through whose eyes Graham Greene tells the story that under Carol Reed’s direction became The Fallen Idol, one of the classics of postwar British Cinema. Following retirement from an international financial career based in New York City, Robert served as an inter-faith chaplain at Greenwich Hospital and more recently has pursued a lifelong scholarly interest in history and linguistics through writing and lecturing. He and his wife Lisette have lived the longest time in Greenwich and are regulars of the Friends Friday Films at the Library. Robert is French born and in a good position to appreciate What is Love’s exploration of contemporary Gallic humor.
