Experiences at the Bruce: Collecting and Curating Braque: Régis Krampf and Jordan Hillman in Conversation

Join us on Wednesday, June 17th, 2026, for a conversation between Jordan Hillman, Assistant Curator of Art, and Régis Krampf, whose collection of works by Georges Braque is on view in Georges Braque: Tactile Space

The exhibition will be open from 5–6pm. The program will begin at 6:15pm. Light snacks and refreshments will be served. 

Tickets are $16 for members and $20 for non-members.

Régis Krampf is a French-born art dealer and collector based in Pound Ridge, known for promoting contemporary art through his galleries in New York and Istanbul. He founded the Krampf Gallery in Chelsea in 2005, focusing on Chinese contemporary art and becoming an early advocate for artists from Beijing’s 798 Art District. His gallery introduced several Chinese artists to the New York scene and also represented international figures, including Korean sculptor Seon Ghi Bahk.

In 2012, Krampf expanded to Istanbul, seeing the city as a strategic hub connecting global art markets. The gallery gained recognition for working with artists such as Marc Quinn and Rona Pondick and for building strong relationships with collectors and institutions in Turkey.

Krampf has curated over 100 exhibitions and participated in major international art fairs. His personal collection includes works by renowned modern masters like Picasso, Renoir, and Caillebotte. Overall, his career reflects a commitment to bridging cultures and supporting emerging and established artists worldwide.
