Sips and Serenades at the Museum: Cocktails & Classical Violin

Thursday, July 16, 2026, 4–5pm

Unwind at the Museum with Sips & Serenades, a new series pairing live music with handcrafted cocktails on the patio. From 4 to 5 p.m., enjoy an hour of exceptional music in a relaxed outdoor setting. The inaugural program features a classical violin performance, offering the perfect way to spend a summer afternoon surrounded by art, architecture, and great company.

About the Artists

Kristen Young is passionate and dedicated to bringing the community together through the Performing Arts. She is a classically trained violinist who can be spotted throughout the tri-state area and maintains a private violin studio. Kristen holds a Master's in Violin Performance and Arts Entrepreneurship from the University of Oklahoma and a Bachelor’s in Arts Management from the University of Delaware. She is the Director of Performing Arts at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Connecticut, the Performing Arts Adjunct at Greens Farms Academy and the Chamber Music Conductor at Young Artists Philharmonic.

Emma Maini is a rising senior at Rye Country Day School. For the last three years, she has studied at the Juilliard Pre College program and is the concertmaster at Young Artists Philharmonic. She loves teaching, performing, and connecting with people through music. In her free time she enjoys baking and drawing.
