iCreate 2026

June 11–August 23, 2026, Susan and Bill Mahoney Gallery Lobby

The Bruce Museum proudly presents iCreate 2026, our annual juried exhibition showcasing exceptional artistic talent from high school students across the region, featuring works selected from submissions representing dozens of schools throughout Connecticut, New Jersey, and New York.

For nearly twenty years, iCreate has showcased the artistic talents of high school students from the Tri-State area. Featuring approximately twenty two-dimensional works in a variety of media—selected from hundreds of entries—the annual juried exhibition is a testament to the incredible range of styles, subjects, and personal experiences of young artists in the region.  Labels written by the students accompany their individual submissions, offering visitors an intimate look into the making of and meaning behind each work on view.

Curated by a group of interns from high schools in Fairfield and Westchester Counties, iCreate further embodies the spirit of collaboration at the heart of the Bruce’s mission. Working closely with Museum staff members, the interns learn how to install artwork, create meaningful visual and thematic dialogues, and develop interpretative and promotional strategies over the course of six weeks. An opening celebration recognizes the selected students and awards prizes to the top submissions, determined by a jury and the high school interns curating the exhibition.

iCreate 2026 is organized by the Bruce Museum, Kathleen Holko, Director of Audience Engagement, and the iCreate 2026 High School Interns.

Leadership support for iCreate is provided by The David T. Langrock Foundation.
