According to the artist, Shadow “pays homage to the idea that even the most powerful structures begin with a single block.” Here, angular and semicircular shapes are stacked to evoke an imposing, human-like form. Open voids between the individual components allow light and air to pass through the Cor-Ten steel sculpture, casting shadows and embodying the interplay between solidity and immateriality suggested by the title of the work.

Según el artista, Sombra “rinde homenaje a la idea de que incluso las estructuras más poderosas empiezan con un solo bloque”. En esta obra, se apilan formas angulares y semicirculares para evocar una imponente figura de apariencia humana. Los espacios abiertos entre cada una de las partes permiten que la luz y el aire pasen a través de la escultura de acero Cor-Ten, proyectando sombras y representando la interacción entre solidez e inmaterialidad que sugiere el título de la obra.
