BIO

Claudia P. Marulanda is a New York City-based portrait artist born in Colombia who rediscovered her passion for art after experiencing an emotional rock bottom.

Today, she uses art to support women navigating life transitions, helping them reconnect with themselves and build emotional resilience.

Through personalized portraits, expressive workshops, and meaningful painting events, Claudia celebrates resilience and promotes personal growth. Her mission is to use art as a transformative tool for emotional awareness and healing. As an artist and facilitator, she creates spaces for women to explore creativity, self-reflection, and personal empowerment.

Artist Statement:

As an artist, I use portraiture to celebrate and empower women, transforming personal experiences of resilience into visual narratives. Through oil and acrylic paintings, I create portraits that challenge stereotypes and inspire self-love, weaving words of encouragement directly into my subjects’ hair. Each artwork is a powerful exploration of women’s inner strength, inviting viewers to recognize their own magnificent potential.

My creative practice extends beyond the canvas through workshops and painting events designed to support women in their personal growth journeys. By providing spaces for creativity and self-reflection, I aim to help women reconnect with themselves and build emotional resilience and remind women that we are Sensational Wonder women!
