iCreate 2025–Call For Entries

Calling All Talented High School Artists!

Get your artwork seen! For high school students in Fairfield County and surrounding Counties in Connecticut, New Jersey, and New York, this is your chance to showcase your work at the prestigious Bruce Museum. Submit your best pieces to the iCreate 2025 Juried Regional High School Competition by April 20, 2025.

Selected artwork will be featured in a special gallery exhibition from June 8 to September 7, 2025, and all participating students will be recognized in an official video presentation. Top winners will take home cash prizes of up to $500!

  • Submit up to three digital images of your artwork to click here by April 20, 2025.
  • Include your name, contact email, high school name, grade, and medium used.
  • Open to students in grades 9-12.

iCreate is a juried installation with approximately 55 final works selected from the total submissions. Each year the submissions come from approximately 400 participating students. Over 1,000 votes are cast for the People’s Choice Award from over 4,000 virtual visits to the online exhibition on BruceMuseum.org.

iCreate participation is open enrollment to all regional high school students. Students have until midnight April 20, 2025, to submit their art entries for this year’s iCreatevirtual exhibi-tion presented online at Brucemuseum.org

Criteria: Fine Art entries will be limited to two-dimensional original works in oil, watercolor, acrylic, tempera, gouache, pastel, any drawing medium, traditional printmaking forms (such as relief, etching, stone lithograph, and serigraph), mixed media, and works generated digitally by computer. No photography is accepted. Pieces can be no larger than 48” on any one side and there is a three-piece limit per artist.

Art Awards:  Cash prizes will be awarded in the following amounts: 1st: $500, Youth at Bruce Award: $350, 2nd: $300, 3rd: $200, and three Honorable Mentions: $100. People’s Choice Award: $350 will be awarded in late August, allowing the public to vote online and in person for their favorite art submission.

Awards will be presented by Youth@Bruce at the opening reception on Sunday, June 8, 2025.
